New Gear!
I has finally happened. I took the plunge and got myself a new reader.
While i still use my PC and Phone as my main devices, i plan on visiting Teneriffe later this year, and i felt a new reader is something i might prefer.
The main arguments in this case were the bigger display (10.3” on my new reader, compared to 6” on my phone) and the long runtime, since its an e-Ink-Display.
I chose the Onyx Note Pro, based on size, price and OS, since it runs android 6 and i can easily install kindle/audible apps on there.
The first few books i’ve read (the Tom-Series, its awesome) i feel validated. Sitting in the Sun on in my Garden, having a bigger (but lighter) screen which can be backlit feels amazing.
The only downside is that the reader is not waterproof, this is something i originally wanted, but the only waterproof options would have been <10”.
I’ll most likely post more experiences after using it for a bit longer.
