When the streams cross

I was recently reading “A Glimmer of Hope” by Steve McHugh and towards the end of the Book the protagonist hears about a mysterious Dude whose Name sounded familiar to me, but i could not figure out why.
In the next chapter, when she finally meets him, one of the Spirits bound to the protagonist whispers “Hellequin” in fear, and that then finally triggered the memory.
Turns out, the Author is the same that wrote “The Hellequin Chronicles”, which i have read about a year ago. So now im rereading those, and then picking up the “current” Series again. 

I love Crossovers, and especially if they are done well, and reintroduce established characters. For me that often feels like a reward for paying attention. The same goes for Games that keep parts of the Cast in future installments.

I used this reminder to also include “The Hellequin Chronicles” in my list of reccommendable books.
